Anton Karpenko

Anton has been specializing in supporting telecommunications, media and technology clients on intellectual property issues and personal data regulation for more than 6 years.

He has special competence in creating non-standard structures of complex contractual relations for international groups of IT companies for the purposes of alienating, licensing, creating and managing intellectual property in several countries and regions.

Anton provides legal support for the launch of major international media, gaming and crypto services, which includes selecting suitable jurisdictions together with the client, developing a roadmap and then supporting and preparing all the necessary documents required for a full wolrdwide launch.

Anton also helps clients comply with personal data laws: he develops a full set of documents, including under the GDPR, advises on cross-border data transfers and responses to data security incidents.

Prior to joining the Versus.UAE team, Anton worked for a major Russian law firm where he advised international tech, gaming and media companies.
